Property Cleanup in Belle Isle

We clear overgrown yards, cut back brush and vines, pull weeds out of beds and haul off the debris. You get a yard you can use again, plus a straight answer on what it takes to keep it that way.

A Big Reset for a Yard That Got Away From You

Property cleanup is the one-time job. It's for the yard that sat empty for a season, the rental between tenants, the house you just bought, or the side yard nobody has touched in years. We cut it back, clear it out and take everything with us.

Here the growing season is long and the summer rains are heavy, so a few skipped months can turn into a jungle. Clearing it is only half the job. If we pull vines and leave the roots, you pay for the same cleanup again next year. So we take the extra time to get roots and runners where we can, and we tell you which spots will need follow-up.

We've been doing this kind of work since 2018. The jobs that hold up best are the ones where the cleanup is followed by a simple plan, like fresh mulch in the beds or regular lawn care, instead of waiting for the next big mess.

What a Property Cleanup Covers

Overgrowth cut back

We cut down tall grass, weeds and volunteer saplings. Shrubs that have swallowed walkways or windows get pruned back to a healthy shape, not just sheared flat.

Vines and brush pulled

Vines climbing fences, trees and the side of your home come down. We pull roots where the soil allows, because cut vines left in the ground grow back fast.

Beds weeded and edged

We clear weeds and old, matted mulch out of planting beds and cut clean edges along the lawn. If you want new mulch after, our mulch and beds service picks up right where this leaves off.

Debris and junk piles hauled

Branches, leaf piles, old landscape timbers, broken pots and yard waste get loaded up and taken off your property. You don't have to bag anything or wait for curbside pickup.

Hardscape cleared

We blow off and sweep patios, walkways and the driveway edge, and pull weeds from cracks and paver joints.

A walk-through when we finish

Before we leave, we walk the yard with you. We point out anything we found along the way, like a dead tree, a broken sprinkler head or a stump, so you know what's left.

Signs Your Yard Needs a Cleanup

  • You can't see the beds anymore

When weeds and grass have grown over the bed edges, regular mowing won't fix it. The yard needs a reset first.

  • Vines are on the house or fence

Vines hold moisture against siding and fences and pull on screens and trim. The longer they stay, the more they spread and the harder they are to get out.

  • Brush piles keep growing

Old piles of branches and leaves are a home for rodents and snakes. They also kill the grass underneath them.

  • You're getting ready to sell or rent

A cleared yard shows better and gives buyers or tenants less to worry about. It's often the cheapest outdoor fix before a listing.

  • The HOA or city sent a notice

Overgrowth and debris letters usually come with a deadline. We can walk the property, tell you how long the work will take and plan around it.

How a Cleanup Day Goes

  1. 1

    Walkthrough and written estimate

We come out and walk the property with you, free. We look at how much needs to come out, how we'll get trucks and equipment in, and what you want kept. Then you get a written estimate that lists the work.

  2. 2

    Mark what stays

On the day, we start by flagging the plants, trees and features you want to keep. We also locate sprinkler heads and low-voltage lines so they don't get hit.

  3. 3

    Clear the growth

We start at the property line and work our way toward the house, trimming back growth, tearing out vines and emptying the beds. Cut material gets loaded onto the truck or trailer as we go, so nothing sits on your grass.

  4. 4

    Haul off and final pass

We haul everything away, blow off hard surfaces and do a final look around with you. If something needs a separate fix, like a stump or a dead tree, we tell you plainly and you decide.

What Sets the Cost of Clearing a Yard

We can't price this from a photo or a lot size, since two yards that look alike can take very different amounts of work. Most of the cost comes down to crew hours and how many loads we haul off. The written estimate breaks it out line by line, so you can pick what's worth doing now and what can wait.

How overgrown it is
Knee-high grass is a fast cut. Years of woody brush, saplings and vines with deep roots take a lot more time and equipment.
How much gets hauled
Debris volume is a big part of the cost. Disposal is charged by the load, so a few bags is very different from a full trailer of branches.
Access to the yard
Wide gates and open side yards let us bring in bigger equipment. Tight fenced yards mean more hand work and more trips with a wheelbarrow.
Extras you add on
Tree work, stump grinding or new mulch can be done the same visit or later. Doing them together often saves a second setup, but we'll price them separately so you can choose.

Property Cleanup Questions

Something not covered here? (407) 289-1778

How is this different from your seasonal cleanup?

Seasonal cleanup is a lighter, regular job for a yard that's already in decent shape. Property cleanup is for a yard that's been let go and needs a full reset. Once we've cleared it, a seasonal cleanup or lawn care schedule is the cheaper way to keep it there.

Will the overgrowth just come back?

Some of it will, because things grow fast here. We pull roots where we can, which slows regrowth a lot. We'll also tell you which areas need follow-up, so you're not surprised in a few months.

Do I need to be home during the work?

Not usually. We like to walk the yard with you before we start so we know what stays. After that, we just need access to the gates and a way to reach you if we find something.

Do you remove trees and stumps as part of a cleanup?

Small saplings and brush are part of the cleanup. Larger trees, palms and stumps are separate jobs under our tree trimming and removal, palm tree pruning and removal, and stump grinding services. We can quote them at the same walkthrough.

What happens to the debris?

We load it and haul it off your property. You don't need to bag anything or leave it at the curb.
